PREFA Division Returns to Poland

Six years later, our PREFA Division has been able to once again break into the Polish construction market. The opportune combination of good references, the quality of the precast elements we produce, and the offer of a variable technical solution custom-designed for the client helped us win the bid for construction of a factory building for an important investor, the company KOH-I-NOOR, in the city of Skoczów for the second half of November of this year.

We made the first inroads into the Polish market in 2009, when we successfully completed construction of a precast skeletal frame for the technical complex of a compressor plant for the chemical company ZAK s.a. in the city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

This year – after 19 long years – we carried out comprehensive restoration of the mixing center, including general refurbishment of subsidiary technologies in the VCES a.s. factory for construction elements. Thanks to an investment exceeding CZK 9 million, we can now offer precast elements made using self-compacting concrete technology that has considerably higher production quality – both visually and as it relates to construction.

In recent years, an essential part of our offering to investors and clients has become construction and technical solutions that help all parties involved to economize. We even won the new commission thanks to our offer, which optimized its skeletal construction, i.e., redefining it not as a monolithic structure but rather as a precast skeletal frame.

Thanks to having implemented numerous organizational and investment measures in recent years, we are able to operate throughout the Czech Republic and likewise in Slovakia – and, this year, in Poland as well. In our current position, our PREFA Division is able to sign contracts not only with prominent construction companies in the Czech Republic but also to provide goods directly, i.e., to sign supply contracts for our products directly with investors.
